About Me

In my 60's, always been a keen biker since childhood.  Particularly keen on pre '65 trials, and ISDT type stuff.

Have enjoyed riding and building bikes for many years.

About Me

Beamish Reliability Trial in 1988 and Trophy Trial in 1986, 1987, 2009 and 2010. All in BSA threewheelers.  Currently driving a 1931 V twin trike owned since 1974 which had a Moto Guzzi 850 engine fitted in around 1985 after a spate of crankshaft failures. (One on the speed hill climb in 1988). A quite remarkable engine - and I am looking for a back up one - 850 or 950cc, 1980 or earlier. Also have two 4 cylinder BSA from 1935 and 1936. In the past have owned a Vespa tipper threewheeled truck, 1934 Morgan LTOWZ Super Sports and a Ranger Cub Mini-engined trike (Cleaned Bamford Clough in that one!). Also had a Sunbeam S7 De Luxe for several years. Done various MCC events in the V twin. Based in Leeds.

About Me

I am a retired long distance truck driver who has been into bikes and cars almost all my life...one of the original petrol heads. In my time I have raced ovals in stock cars, road raced on both two and three wheels and won three championships whilst trialing land rovers. I was also a motor correspondant for the Derbyshire Times for six years. I've competed in the Sandia Classic trial in the States. Myself and my wife spend half of the year in New Mexico and the other in good old England. I've been going to the IOM on and off for the TT and the manx since 1970 and I'm interetsed in anything with an engine and wheels.
